Steven Gerrard "looking forward" to meeting new Liverpool signings

Steven Gerrard says that he is "looking forward" to meeting Liverpool's new signings next week and seeing what they have to offer.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has admitted that he is "looking forward" to seeing what the club's new signings have to offer.

The Merseyside outfit have acquired defender Kolo Toure, midfielder Luis Alberto, forward Iago Aspas and goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

"I am really looking forward to getting back to work next week and seeing what the new players have got to offer and see if they can help strengthen our squad to put in a better fight for a top-four finish," Gerrard told the club's official website.

The England skipper has also claimed that he wants Manchester United to experience a "wobble" next season following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.
