Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen will reportedly turn down the chance to join Liverpool unless they move quickly by offering £15m to to the Dutch club.
The Denmark international is ready to rebuff interest from Brendan Rodgers's side and sign a new contract with Ajax, after receiving "mixed messages" from the Reds.
A source told The People: "One minute there was a concrete interest and Liverpool were willing to pay the fee, but now they are taking their time."
Liverpool are said to be evaluating the transfer market before making their move for the 21-year-old.
