The agent of Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen has claimed that teams in both Italy and Germany are interested in signing his client.
Eriksen's future has been the subject of regular speculation throughout the summer, with Premier League duo Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool understood to be interested in the Dane.
However, Eriksen's representative Martin Schoots has revealed that a Serie A club and Bundesliga side have also entered the running for the 21-year-old's signature.
"There has been contact with an Italian club but I would rather not say which one, there has also been a proposal from a German club," Schoots told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
"He will only leave Ajax for a side challenging for a league title and one whom have automatically in the group stages of the Champions League.
"He is still very young, very grateful to Ajax and quite happy to stay there. At the moment there are no negotiations but we will certainly discuss it with the club after the summer if he is still an Ajax player. One thing is for sure, he will not leave on a free transfer."
Eriksen himself recently admitted his interest in a move to Spurs.
