Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen has insisted that his future will be decided in the next fortnight, while admitting interest in a move to the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.
Eriksen has one year left on his contract in Amsterdam, reportedly prompting interest from a number of European clubs including Spurs, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Danish playmaker declared yesterday that no talks have taken place so far over a new contract with Ajax, with his preference a move to one of the continent's biggest leagues after turning down offers from Russia.
He told BT.dk: "Tottenham are a great club. I know this because of Jan Vertonghen. It is good club which is interesting, but there has not been anything yet.
"We'll find out in two weeks. There are to my knowledge no negotiations right now either with a new club or Ajax.
"There are Russian clubs that have called and made bids for me. I did not take much time to refuse. I would like to join one of the five major leagues. I have the view that I do not want to go to Russia at my age. I do not look at the money."
The 21-year-old has made 160 appearances for Ajax alongside 36 caps for Denmark.
