Harvey Elliott is reportedly ready to pen a professional contract with Liverpool at the beginning of July.
Despite only turning 17 years of age in April, Elliott has already been handed six starts and one substitute outing in all competitions.
According to The Athletic, the teenager has received assurances that he will gain further experience during the Premier League run-in.
That has allegedly led to the playmaker being willing to sign his first professional terms at the start of next month, keeping him at Anfield until 2023.
Rather than being loaned out elsewhere, the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic may result in Elliott being given regular chances in the first team next season.
Elliott's sole game in the Premier League for Liverpool came as a substitute against Sheffield United on January 2.
