Borussia Dortmund are reportedly leading Liverpool in the race to sign PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen.
The German giants' finances have been boosted with the £73m sale of Jadon Sancho to Manchester United, and they could come into further cash if Erling Braut Haaland is sold.
Malen scored 27 goals and provided 10 assists in 45 appearances for PSV last season, and managed two assists in Netherlands' Euro 2020 campaign, his first major international tournament.
According to The Mirror, a deal to take Malen away from the Dutch club could be concluded within the next fortnight, and his likely destination will be Germany.
Despite falling behind Dortmund in the race for Malen, the report suggests that Jurgen Klopp has been offered Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman as an alternative, which would cost the Premier League giants around £43m.
Malen joined PSV Eindhoven in 2018 and has gone on to score 55 goals in 116 appearances for the club.
