Aly Cissokho says that he wants to remain at Valencia this summer.

Valencia defender Aly Cissokho has insisted that he wants to remain with the Spanish club this summer.

The former Porto left-back has been linked with a number of European outfits since the end of last season, but he has revealed that he is "happy" at Valencia.

"Every player at the club is being linked with a move because of the financial situation at the club," he told reporters in Spain.

"I have some clubs interested but I am happy here at Valencia. Under [Mauricio] Pellegrino I played a lot, but I didn't play much under [Ernesto] Valverde although I played in an important game in the Champions League [against Paris Saint-Germain]."

Liverpool have reportedly registered their interest in the 25-year-old.
