Barcelona consider move for Glen Johnson?

Glen Johnson could replace Dani Alves at Barcelona, according to reports.

Liverpool right-back Glen Johnson has emerged as a surprise transfer target for Barcelona, according to reports.

The 30-year-old is expected to leave Anfield when his contract expires in the summer after six years with the Merseyside club.

Johnson is being considered as a potential replacement for Barcelona's current right-back, Dani Alves, who is being tipped to leave Camp Nou at the end of the season, according to the Liverpool Echo.

However, Barcelona are understood to have concerns over the former West Ham United and Chelsea full-back's fitness.

Johnson, who has 54 England caps, has made 21 appearances for Liverpool this season.
