Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has reportedly signalled that he would be open to joining Roma in the summer.
Johnson's current deal at Anfield expires at the end of the season, and with the club believed to be reluctant to pay him the same wages, it appears that the England international could be on his way to pastures new.
The 30-year-old has fallen down the pecking order during this campaign due to a 3-5-2 formation which has seen Brendan Rodgers prefer to use more attack-minded players in the wing-back positions.
According to The Mirror, Johnson is interested in a move to the Italian capital, despite his agent Jonathan Barnett claiming that there has been no contact from the Serie A club.
Barnett also represents Ashley Cole, who moved to Roma after leaving Chelsea last summer.
