Three Premier League clubs step up their interest in Bournemouth's in-form attacker Antoine Semenyo, according to a report.

Three Premier League clubs have stepped up their interest in Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semenyo, according to a report.

The 24-year-old joined the Cherries from Bristol City in January 2023 and has established himself as a key first-team player since the arrival of head coach Andoni Iraola.

Semenyo scored eight goals in 33 Premier League games last season to help Bournemouth avoid relegation and climb to a respectable 12th place in the table, just one point behind the top 10.

The 23-cap Ghana international has since made a bright start to the new campaign, chipping in with three goals and one assist in seven top-flight appearances, most recently netting in Bournemouth's 3-1 win over Southampton at the end of last month.

Along with club-record signing Evanilson, Semenyo has somewhat been tasked with filling the void left behind by last season's top scorer Dominic Solanke, who joined Tottenham Hotspur for £65m in the summer.

Liverpool, Spurs, Newcastle keeping tabs on Semenyo

In July, Semenyo committed his future to Bournemouth by putting pen to paper on a new long-term contract to keep him at the Vitality Stadium until the summer of 2029.

However, that has not stopped the rumour mill from linking the versatile attacker with a future exit, as GiveMeSport claims that he is emerging as a target for big clubs in the Premier League.

The report states that Semenyo's impressive start to the season has caught the attention of Liverpool, Spurs and Newcastle United, with all three clubs said to be scouting him with a view to potentially making a move for his services in 2025.

Clubs including Celtic, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Southampton were all long-term admirers of Semenyo during his time at Bristol City before he moved to Bournemouth, but he has now attracted further interest from top Premier League teams.

What is Bournemouth's stance on Semenyo's future?

After reluctantly parting ways with Solanke in the summer, Bournemouth are said to be 'extremely keen' not to lose Semenyo or any other star players in the near future.

The Cherries are under no immediate pressure to sell Semenyo and could demand a 'huge fee' from interested suitors.

However, it is claimed that player power could be key, as Semenyo could be attracted by the opportunity to represent a club challenging or competing in Europe.

Semenyo is currently away on international duty with Ghana and will soon return to Bournemouth ahead of their next Premier League game at home against Arsenal on October 19.
