Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Liverpool may be able to welcome Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain back to the fold for Sunday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The former Arsenal man rolled his ankle in last weekend's win over Brentford and did not play against his former side in the EFL Cup in midweek, but there is hope over his inclusion this weekend.

Thiago Alcantara, Harvey Elliott, Nat Phillips and Divock Origi are all still in the treatment room, though, while Mohamed Salah, Naby Keita and Sadio Mane continue their Africa Cup of Nations duty.

Caoimhin Kelleher was barely tested in between the sticks on Thursday night and prepares to make way for Alisson Becker, with the impressive Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson retaining their places in defence.

There may be an alteration in the heart of defence, though, with Joel Matip being hooked at half time at the Emirates following an error-strewn display, so Ibrahima Konate has a strong chance of partnering Virgil van Dijk.

Oxlade-Chamberlain will surely only be considered for a place on the bench if he is passed fit, allowing Curtis Jones to start alongside Fabinho and Jordan Henderson once again.

Jurgen Klopp trusted 17-year-old Kaide Gordon from the first whistle on Thursday night, but Takumi Minamino ought to take his place in the final third with Roberto Firmino and two-goal hero Diogo Jota at Selhurst Park.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold; Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Jones; Jota, Firmino, Minamino
