Liverpool have no intention of selling Luis Suarez in the summer, according to the Liverpool Echo.
It had been suggested that the 25-year-old could be shown the exit following his refusal to shake Manchester United defender Patrice Evra's hand during the heated meeting at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Suarez, as well as managing director Ian Ayre and Reds boss Kenny Dalglish released a series of statements on Sunday in a bid to calm proceedings, but club owners Fenway Sports Group admitted that they were "disappointed" with the affair.
According to local reports, however, the club have no real intention of letting the Uruguayan leave the club at the end of the season.
Suarez joined Liverpool from Ajax in January 2011.
