Preview: Hull City vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole looks ahead to this Sunday's Premier League clash at the KC Stadium between Hull City and Liverpool.

Hull City face second-placed Liverpool at the KC Stadium this Sunday following two straight defeats in the Premier League.

Steve Bruce's men sit 13th in the table after 12 games having picked up 14 points so far in the campaign.

However, they have lost just one game out of six on home turf this season, while the Reds have failed to grab a victory in their last three matches on the road having recorded two draws and a defeat.

Brendan Rodgers's men remain four points behind table-toppers Arsenal, and they could be seven points off the pace by the time Sunday's afternoon clash comes around as the Gunners take on Cardiff City on Saturday.

The Merseyside outfit have lost just two games so far this season, largely because of the prolific strike partnership of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.

Both players are expected to start this weekend, despite Sturridge being demoted to the bench before rescuing a point for Liverpool in their 3-3 draw with Everton last weekend.

For the home side, who are trying to avoid three defeats on the bounce, Yannick Sagbo could be placed as the lone striker once again, while Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore are likely to also feature.
