Liverpool striker Luis Suarez will reportedly begin having sessions with sports psychiatrist Dr Steve Peters, who treated snooker star Ronnie O'Sullivan.
The Uruguay international is expected to be given the help that he needs to tame his anger on the pitch following his bite on Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
Despite the 26-year-old receiving much criticism for his actions, O'Sullivan has claimed that he 'understands' why Suarez reacted in that way.
"I understand what Suarez did, I totally get it," the Daily Star quotes O'Sullivan as saying. "It's a moment of madness and you think, 'Wow, what have I done?'
"You regret it afterwards but at that moment you're overrun by these emotions. Sometimes things like that could have been avoided if you had dealt with them earlier."
Suarez was handed a 10-match ban by the Football Association for the incident.
