Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is named as a substitute on his return from an eight-match suspension for tonight's match with Tottenham Hotspur.

Luis Suarez will begin his return from an eight-match suspension as a substitute for Liverpool's home fixture against Tottenham Hotspur this evening.

Instead, Craig Bellamy will partner Andy Carroll in attack, while Steven Gerrard comes back into the midfield.

Emmanuel Adebayor has been passed fit and will start as a lone striker for visiting Spurs.

However, they will be without Rafael van der Vaart, Jermain Defoe and Aaron Lennon because of injuries.

Liverpool: Reina; Johnson, Kelly, Agger, Skrtel; Spearing, Kuyt, Gerrard, Adam; Carroll, Bellamy.

Spurs: Friedel; Walker, Dawson, King, Assou-Ekotto; Livermore, Parker; Kranjcar, Modric, Bale; Adebayor.
