Sean O'Driscoll to make Liverpool move?

Liverpool are preparing to confirm the appointment of Sean O'Driscoll as their new assistant manager, according to reports.

Sean O'Driscoll has reportedly emerged as the leading candidate to become Liverpool's new assistant manager.

Liverpool have been searching for a coach to work alongside Brendan Rodgers since first-team coach Mike Marsh and assistant manager Colin Pascoe were dismissed earlier this month when the club reacted to a disappointing campaign with a reshuffle of the backroom staff.

According to The Mirror, former Nottingham Forest and Bristol City boss O'Driscoll, who is currently in charge of England Under-19s, has agreed to replace Pascoe and his appointment will be confirmed in the coming days.

It remains unclear whether Liverpool will look to find a replacement for Marsh or promote someone from within the club.
