Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: 'We'll fight to the end'

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers insists that his players will keep 'fighting' to finish as high as possible in their final three Premier League games of the season.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that the players will keep 'fighting' to finish as high in the Premier League table as possible.

The Reds are unlikely to seal a Champions League spot as they are four points behind fourth-placed Manchester United with three games left to play.

Liverpool ended their two-game winless run at the weekend with a 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers thanks to a late header from Steven Gerrard.

"We'll just continue to fight to finish as high as we can," Rodgers told the club's official website. "If we can do that, we just never know what can happen. Of course, there aren't so many games left but you've just got to keep going right to the very end."

Liverpool will play Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Stoke City in their final three games of the season.
