Brendan Rodgers wants Liverpool consistency

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wants his side to show more consistency, as well as learn how to win when they aren't playing well.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has called for his side to be more consistent in their results.

The Reds have failed to string together a run of positive results so far this season, winning eight, drawing seven and losing seven of their 22 games.

Rodgers believes that their performances are good enough, but claims that his side need to learn how to grind out results when they are not playing well.

"We've had some terrific performances so far this season but consistency has been our biggest downfall," he said.

"I believe the group will be as good as any team in this league but we have to be consistent and be able to not play well and win. This season we've normally played well and won games; we've also performed well and not got something from the games.

"At times, we're going to have to not play well and be able to win."

Liverpool, who currently sit eighth in the Premier League table, face Norwich City tomorrow.
