Illness prevents Brendan Rodgers from travelling with the Liverpool squad that will take on Queens Park Rangers today.

Liverpool will be without manager Brendan Rodgers when they take on Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.

The Irishman is suffering with an illness, which has affected a number of the Liverpool squad over the Christmas period.

It has also been claimed that Australian goalkeeper Brad Jones has missed out because of the bug.

Reports have claimed that a couple of other squad members will miss the match to prevent the illness from spreading.
