Alan Pardew has said that Brendan Rodgers deserves to be named the Premier League's Manager of the Year.
Rodgers's Liverpool side can still be crowned champions if they beat Newcastle United and Manchester City lose tomorrow, while they have also secured Champions League football for the first time since 2009.
The Newcastle boss told reporters: "Brendan Rodgers has done an unbelievable job. Moving four or five positions at the top of the league is the hardest job that there is in football.
"For me, he's got a great chance of being Manager of the Year, and rightly so. And he can still win the title."
Rodgers replaced Kenny Dalglish at Anfield in 2012.
