New Liverpool signing Dejan Lovren has told of his happiness after joining the club.
The Croatian international defender joined from Southampton for around £20m on Sunday evening, and the centre-back described the move as a "dream come true".
In an interview with the club's official TV station, Lovren said: "It is a dream come true, I am glad to be here. I am proud, and of course my family are proud and I can't wait to start.
"Of course, I played last season here in front of the crowd and they sing You'll Never Walk Alone, I think that is special for every player, and every fan, and I cannot wait.
"I am a player who will give 100% and I want to show the crowd, because they deserve to see players who will give it all. I know it is something special to play in front of them at Anfield. They have million and millions of supporters and [Liverpool] I think, is more than a club."
Lovren, who joined up with his new teammates and their tour of the United States, is the the Reds' fifth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Emre Can, Lazar Markovic, Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert.
