Jurgen Klopp urges players "to be brave" against Huddersfield Town

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp expects Huddersfield Town to 'park the bus' at Anfield, warning his players to be alert to their counter-attacking threat.

Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Liverpool face a tricky test when welcoming Huddersfield Town to Anfield this weekend following the visitors' shock win against Manchester United.

The Terriers picked up a famous first victory over the Red Devils in 65 years last time out, becoming the only side to beat their opponents in all competitions this term.

Next up for newly-promoted Huddersfield is a trip to Merseyside, where they will be targeting a second big scalp in the space of seven days.

Klopp has urged his players "to be brave" and stand strong at the back, having shipped another four goals away to Tottenham Hotspur in their most recent outing.

"We take this really seriously. We have to defend better," he told reporters. "We need to be confident again, we need to be brave. Huddersfield defend well, good counter-attacking team - enjoying the Premier League.

"Against United they parked the bus and won the game. They will probably try to play the same way here."

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 10 league and cup games against Huddersfield, most recently coming out on top in an FA Cup tie in December 1999.
