Jordan Henderson reveals his excitement ahead of Liverpool's pre-season tour of Thailand, Malaysia and Australia.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has revealed his excitement ahead of the club's pre-season tour of Thailand, Malaysia and Australia.

Henderson, who was officially appointed as the club's new captain on Friday, took to Instagram to post a picture of the squad as they prepared to fly out to Bangkok on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling has been left off the tour as the wantaway winger closes in on a move to Manchester City.
