Brad Jones is now shifting his attention to the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday after his surprising involvement in the win over Blackburn.

Liverpool's third-choice goalkeeper Brad Jones is getting himself ready for a Wembley start against Merseyside rivals Everton.

The 30-year-old Australian was called upon during Liverpool's dramatic 3-2 win over Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday after Alexander Doni was sent off and Pepe Reina was missing through suspension.

Jones managed to save Yakubu's penalty with his first touch of the ball and is now shifting his attention to the FA Cup on Saturday.

"It hasn't sunk in yet, it's been a bit of a shock - not something I was expecting. Now it's a case of getting focused and ready," said Jones.

"It's a big game at the weekend and we just have to be prepared and stay focused for it."

Jones has previously played in the Europa League and the Carling Cup since moving to Liverpool in 2010.
