Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has warned his teammates to 'not get carried away' in their pursuit of a first Premier League title.
The Reds currently lead the way at the top of the table, holding a five-point advantage over Chelsea ahead of the meeting between the two on Sunday.
Henderson believes that Liverpool must continue to perform in the way they have done all season, while acknowledging that the return of Daniel Sturridge - who missed last weekend's trip to Norwich City - will also hand them a major boost.
"We're in a very good position but nothing's won yet," the 23-year-old told Sky Sports News. "I think we've got to keep our feet firmly on the ground, starting with Chelsea. Our focus is on not getting too carried away and just keeping on what we've been doing all season.
"[Sturridge] is a massive player for us. The last game against Norwich I thought we did brilliantly, but it's always a bonus to have a player like Daniel back, so hopefully he is fit and can do the business at the weekend."
Liverpool follow up Sunday's top-of-the-table encounter with games against Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.
