Kenny Dalglish yet to decide on Pepe Reina replacement

Kenny Dalglish doesn't know whether Alexander Doni or Brad Jones will replace suspended goalkeeper Pepe Reina for Liverpool's match with Aston Villa.

Kenny Dalglish has admitted that he is still unsure as to who will replace Pepe Reina in goal for Liverpool's Premier League clash with Aston Villa this weekend.

The Reds stopper faces a three-game ban following his sending-off during Liverpool's 2-0 loss to Newcastle United last Sunday.

Dalglish is now left with the decision whether to name Alexander Doni or Brad Jones as Reina's replacement, but the Scot is confident that either can step into the Spaniard's shoes.

"It is unfortunate circumstances for Pepe, but someone else can step in, either Doni or Brad," Dalglish told Sky Sports News.

"[Doni] is very experienced, coming from Italian football. He has worked really hard. He has got a lot sharper since he has been here with the work he has put in and he has been a real credit to himself.

"To play the game, for him, would be the next test."

As part of the suspension, Reina will miss Liverpool's FA Cup semi-final against Merseyside rivals Everton on April 15.
