Liverpool are expected to call on goalkeeper Brad Jones for the Reds' next three games following Pepe Reina's suspension.
The Merseyside club have been forced to select a new keeper from the ranks after regular first-team member Reina was sent off during Liverpool's 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday.
It is believed that Australian Jones will be used over Doni for the Reds' upcoming matches against Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers and in the FA Cup semi-final against Everton at Wembley, according to the Daily Mail.
Jones, who lost his five-year-old son to leukaemia in November, has not been included in Liverpool's first-team squad since New Year's Day in 2011.
