Kenny Dalglish is expected to return to Anfield for the first time since he was sacked from his position at Liverpool in the summer.
The Scotsman is believed to be attending this Sunday's Premier League clash between the Reds and Manchester United in order to pay tribute to the victims of the Hillsborough disaster following the release of the findings from an independent panel.
The Merseyside outfit are due to pay their respects to the 96 Liverpool fans who died at the Hillsborough Stadium during an FA Cup semi-final in 1989.
Dalglish, who was the manager at the time of the tragedy, will witness new boss Brendan Rodgers try to claim his first win of the Premier League season.
