Liverpool defender Sebastian Coates has revealed that Luis Suarez is enjoying his time in Barcelona.
The Uruguayan striker left the Reds last month for around £75m, and his compatriot explained how Suarez told him about his adaptation to the La Liga giants.
Coates told the Liverpool Echo: "I spoke to Luis recently and he is enjoying his time in Barcelona. We are still good friends. It's a great club for him. He always wanted to be there.
"I know it was really difficult for Luis to leave Liverpool as he enjoyed his time at the club. He was very grateful for the support he got but going to Barcelona was his dream.
"I think Liverpool will be able to cope. We still have other great players like Daniel Sturridge, Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho."
Coates signed for the Anfield side in 2011 for around £7m.
