Fabio Borini flying home from Liverpool tour

Liverpool striker and Sunderland target Fabio Borini announces that he is to fly home from the club's tour of the Unites States after injuring his shoulder.

Fabio Borini has revealed that he is flying back to the UK after injuring his shoulder during Liverpool's tour of the United States.

The striker, who is set to join Sunderland after the Black Cats agreed a fee with Brendan Rodgers's side earlier this month, picked up the injury during a pre-season friendly against Roma.

The Italian wrote on Twitter: "So bored in the hotel room waiting to fly back to England to recover as quick as possible!!"

Rodgers insisted that Borini's injury was not serious and that he would return to training in a couple of days.
