Christian Benteke: 'We have to put Chelsea under pressure'

Liverpool striker Christian Benteke believes that his side can take all three points against Chelsea by putting the Blues under pressure at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool striker Christian Benteke has called on his side to heap pressure on Chelsea in their Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho comes into the fixture under immense scrutiny, with reports suggesting that the Portuguese will be sacked if the Reds claim the victory.

Benteke, who has been passed fit to feature against Mourinho's men, is adamant that Jurgen Klopp's side have to capitalise on the situation by pressing Chelsea to take the three points.

"I think it's the right time to go there, because they are under pressure to be fair," Benteke told the club's official website.

"They have to win, we have to win. So it's going to be a good game and hopefully we can come back to Liverpool with the three points.

"With the type of game we play now, with the high pressing, we have a chance to put them under pressure. Then let's see what's going to happen."

Benteke has scored three goals in seven appearances in the Premier League for the Reds this season.
