Friday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:
David Alaba 'feels undervalued' by Bayern Munich amid Liverpool links'
David Alaba reportedly feels undervalued by Bayern Munich as he considers the next step of his career.
While the long-serving defender ultimately remained with the Champions League winners during the summer transfer window, he now has less than a year remaining on his deal.
Bayern are eager to retain the services of the Austria international, who has been at the Allianz Arena since 2011.
However, Bild claims that the 28-year-old and his representatives have been left unhappy with Bayern's recent contract offers.
Although Alaba is said to have been offered a significant pay rise, the report suggests that the versatile player wishes to earn a salary closer to the likes of Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski.
Liverpool are allegedly monitoring the situation as they consider potential replacements for the injured Virgil van Dijk.
Divock Origi to leave Liverpool on loan in January?
Divock Origi could reportedly leave Liverpool on loan at the start of 2021 with the forward desperate to be a part of the Belgium squad for next summer's European Championships.
The 25-year-old has been restricted to just three appearances for the Reds this season and two of those have come in the EFL Cup, having fallen down the pecking order at the club.
Origi has not even made the squad for Liverpool's last two Premier League games, although he did feature against FC Midtjylland in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The forward only signed a new five-year contract with Jurgen Klopp's side in the middle of last year, meaning that he has a deal at Anfield until the summer of 2024.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo, Origi could be on his way out of the club during the January transfer window, with a loan move a possibility as he looks to secure a spot in the Belgium squad for Euro 2020 by playing regular football in the second half of the season.
The versatile attacker has scored 35 times in 143 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions.
