Mohamed Salah sits out training ahead of the World Cup for a second consecutive session as the Egyptian winger recovers from a shoulder injury.

Mohamed Salah missed training with Egypt on Sunday as the Liverpool winger continues to recover from the shoulder injury he suffered in the Champions League final against Real Madrid last month.

Salah broke the record for the most Premier League goals scored in a single campaign last season, netting 34 times for Jurgen Klopp's side.

The former Chelsea man led the Reds to a European final in May, but a clash with Sergio Ramos forced Salah off in the opening 30 minutes.

Salah sat out from training on Saturday and it has now been confirmed that the 25-year-old could not take part in Sunday's training either.

The Egypt squad arrived in Grozny at the weekend as they prepare for their opening World Cup game against Uruguay next Friday.
