England's Adam Lallana 'suffers injury scare in training'

England midfielder Adam Lallana suffers an ankle injury in training, but is expected to be fit for Monday's last-16 clash against Iceland at Euro 2016.

There was cause for concern on Friday when England midfielder Adam Lallana suffered an injury scare in training.

The Liverpool player was spotted stepping off the team bus in Chantilly with an ice pack wrapped around his ankle.

However, according to The Mirror, Lallana is expected to take part in full training on Saturday ahead of Monday's last-16 clash against Iceland.

Lallana has started all three of England's matches at the tournament in France so far.
