Gylfi Sigurdsson saw his shot is blocked by Liverpool's defence on 23 minutes.

Two minutes later, Jonjo Shelvey found his way through, but Swansea's defence was equal to the midfielder's effort.

Sigurdsson got another shot on goal as Swansea began to pile forward, but his attempt was unsuccessful.

A minute later, Leon Britton's strike missed the target.

Liverpool started to come into the game late on in the second half, with Andy Carroll just missing the target on 37 minutes.

The striker then had a header on goal on 40 minutes, but saw his effort cleared.
