Liverpool wing wizard Mohamed Salah could extend a Champions League record when the Reds take on Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes in Wednesday's last-16 first leg.
The electrifying Egyptian continued his phenomenal form this season with an assist in last week's 2-0 Premier League win over Newcastle United, moving onto a staggering 52 goal involvements from just 39 appearances this season.
Salah has also directly contributed to 20 goals from 30 previous games in the Champions League knockout phase, the most ever for an African player - Samuel Eto'o and Didier Drogba both registered 19 involvements.
The 32-year-old will no doubt start on the right as he seeks to run Nuno Mendes ragged, and he could form part of an unchanged attack given Cody Gakpo has picked up a fresh knock.
Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Dominik Szoboszlai will retain their places in the final third if that is the case, while Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch are immovable in midfield.
The same goes for Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk in defence, and the only alteration Arne Slot should make from the win over Newcastle is Andy Robertson in for Kostas Tsimikas.
Tyler Morton (shoulder), Conor Bradley (hamstring) and Joe Gomez (hamstring) will play no part in this one, nor will teenager Amara Nallo, sent off four minutes into his Reds debut in their 3-2 loss to PSV Eindhoven on the final matchday of the league phase.
Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Diaz; Jota
