Report: Leicester City fail with Steven N'Zonzi bid

A report claims that Leicester City have failed in an £18m bid for Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi.

Sevilla have reportedly rejected an £18m bid from Leicester City for midfielder Steven N'Zonzi.

The Frenchman joined Sevilla from Stoke City in the summer of 2015 following six seasons in England.

The 27-year-old helped his Spanish club land the Europa League title during the 2015-16 campaign and also made 28 appearances in La Liga.

According to the Sunday People, Leicester made an offer of £18m for the central midfielder, but that was quickly rejected by Sevilla, who will lose Ever Banega next month.

N'Zonzi has also previously represented Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League.
