Claudio Ranieri admits N'Golo Kante Leicester City exit possible

Claudio Ranieri appears to admit that N'Golo Kante could leave Leicester City this summer if the right offer comes in.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has admitted that star midfielder N'Golo Kante may leave the club this summer if the right offer comes in.

Kante, who only joined Leicester last summer, cast doubt over his long-term future with the Foxes this week by saying that he could not be 100% sure he would still be at the club next season.

The likes of Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with the French midfielder, who scored for Les Bleus on his full international debut on his 25th birthday earlier this week.

When asked about Kante's comments today, Ranieri told reporters: "He's working very well but if some big-team offers arrive for a lot of money we think about it.

"I don't want sad people here. I want happy. He's happy. Always smiling."

Kante has starred in a battling midfield role for Leicester this season, helping the Foxes to a surprise five-point lead at the top of the table with just seven matches remaining.
