Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has admitted that he will be unable to make any more new signings this summer.
Former Tranmere Rovers defender Zoumana Bakayogo, who joined on a free transfer, has been the only arrival at the club since the window opened.
"The opportunity to add to the squad is not there, so there is no point me talking about it," Pearson told the Leicester Mercury. "It doesn't matter if I need to [bring players in] or not, I won't be.
"I don't think I have ever made noises during pre-season that that was going to be the case.
"I don't think I have ever said since the end of last season that I will be adding to the squad."
Leicester sold Jermaine Beckford to Bolton Wanderers this summer.
