Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez signs new four-year contract

Riyad Mahrez signs a new four-year contract with Leicester City.

Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has signed a new four-year contract with the club.

The Algeria international was linked with a move elsewhere this summer, but has now pledged his immediate future to the Premier League champions.

Mahrez netted 17 goals and contributed 11 assists last term to help the Foxes to an unlikely league title.

He went on to be named the Professional Footballers' Association Players' Player of the Year at the end of the campaign.

Fellow Leicester stars Wes Morgan, Jamie Vardy, Kasper Schmeichel and Andy King previously signed new deals with Claudio Ranieri's side.
