Leicester City are reportedly leading the race to sign free agent Hatem Ben Arfa this summer.
The 29-year-old suffered a miserable stay in England with Newcastle United and Hull City, but enjoyed a career revival by helping Nice to a fourth-place finish in Ligue 1 last season.
His contract with the French outfit expired at the end of the campaign, though, and his availability on a free transfer has made him one of the most sought-after players in Europe.
Reports yesterday suggested that Sevilla were on the verge of completing a deal to sign the playmaker, but Canal+ now reports that Premier League champions Leicester are in pole position for his signature.
Ben Arfa is thought to be keen on a move to Paris Saint-Germain, although the French champions are yet to make a formal bid for the player.
