Argentine midfielder Esteban Cambiasso reportedly arrived in London yesterday ahead of his proposed move to Leicester City.
It is believed that the 34-year-old held discussions with Leicester officials before their match with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, which they went on to lose 2-0.
Those discussions went positively and the free agent could now sign a two-year contract at some stage today, according to The Mirror.
The report added that Cambiasso had been interested in a move to West Ham United, but the Londoners failed to firm up their initial interest in his services.
The former Argentina international has been without a club since he was released by Inter Milan at the end of last season.
