Preview: Leicester City vs. Barnsley

Sports Mole previews Saturday's Championship match between Leicester City and Barnsley.

Leicester City meet Barnsley at the King Power Stadium on Saturday with both sides needing three points for different reasons.

The Foxes could move into the Championship's automatic promotion places with a win, while Barnsley could haul themselves out of the bottom three if they secure victory.

Leicester come into the match off the back of a 2-1 success over East Midlands rivals Derby County in the League Cup on Tuesday evening.

Barnsley have lost their last three matches, including Saturday's heavy defeat at the hands of Watford.

Leicester have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the game. Manager Nigel Pearson rested Paul Konchesky and David Nugent against Derby and both are expected to return to the side this weekend.

Barnsley boss David Flitcroft will hand a debut to goalkeeper Jack Butland, who completed a loan move to the Tykes from Stoke City on Thursday.
