Claudio Ranieri refusing to get carried away by high-flying Leicester City

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri underlines the importance of staying grounded as he plays down the Foxes' barnstorming start to the 2015-16 season.

Claudio Ranieri has played down Leicester City's high-flying start to the Premier League season and has stated that avoiding relegation remains the objective.

The Foxes scored three times in the final 18 minutes as Ranieri's men came from two down to beat Aston Villa 3-2 in a see-saw clash at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.

Consequently, unbeaten Leicester move second in the table, four points behind leaders Manchester City, but the veteran Italian stressed the importance of staying grounded.

"After the first goal the atmosphere in the stadium changed and our fans pushed us on fantastically," Ranieri, who previously managed Chelsea, is quoted as saying by Goal.com.

"The fans can dream, but we have our feet on the ground. We know the Premier League is very changeable.

"We have to be concentrated and focused on our goal of remaining in the Premier League. After that we can dream."

Leicester, who have won three and drawn two of their first five outings, have 11 points.
