Riyad Mahrez has insisted that Leicester City's impressive campaign to date is down to a team effort, rather than his individual quality.
The Foxes returned to the top of the Premier League table this evening thanks to a 2-1 win over Chelsea, with Mahrez on target alongside Jamie Vardy, who was set up by the Algerian playmaker.
Mahrez has now found the net 11 times this season, as well as laying on seven assists, but the 24-year-old has refused to take sole credit for his side's lofty position.
"I don't know if anyone can stop me but I need to do my best for the team," he told Sky Sports News.
"The most important thing is the performance of the team. We did a great game [against Chelsea] and deserved the win. I have a lot of confidence. When you keep scoring and making assists it's normal to have confidence."
In recent weeks Mahrez's services have been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona.
