N'Golo Kante "very happy" to score first Leicester City goal

Leicester City's N'Golo Kante says that it is a "great feeling" to have scored his first goal for the side in their 2-1 win over Watford.

N'Golo Kante has said that it is a "great feeling" to have scored his first goal for Leicester City in their 2-1 win over Watford.

The midfielder handed Leicester the lead when his shot squirmed through the grasp of Heurelho Gomes shortly after the half-time whistle.

Jamie Vardy then scored for the ninth successive Premier League game and although Troy Deeney grabbed a goal back, the Foxes held on to secure all three points.

"It's a great feeling," Kante told the club's official website after the final whistle.

"We won, I scored and I'm very happy. We're in good form, but we have to keep going."

The victory put Leicester level on points with Manchester City and Arsenal at the summit of the Premier League table.
