Half-Time Report: Goalless between Leicester City, West Bromwich Albion

Neither side can find a breakthrough in the first 45 minutes of the Premier League clash between Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion.

Chances were plentiful in the first half but it is goalless at the break in the Premier League clash between Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes edged the early stages of the game but failed to carve out any clear-cut opportunities as Sebastien Pocognoli did well to clear a dangerous cross from the right from Ritchie de Laet.

Leicester tried to exert pressure on the Baggies backline, and Danny Drinkwater almost found a way through in the 16th minute but he put his effort from outside the area just over the bar.

The visitors almost hit the Foxes on the counter-attack when Saido Berahino was put through by Graham Dorrans's pinpoint pass, but the striker fired his effort straight at Kaspar Schmeichel.

Both sides threatened from set pieces as Wes Morgan glanced a header at goal that went inches past the post from a Matty James corner, while at the other end Craig Gardner's header was cleared off the line by Esteban Cambiasso.

West Brom had an opportunity just before the break when Berahino twisted and turned inside the box, but then laid the ball back to Chris Brunt to strike, and his powerful shot went inches over the bar.
