Leeds United have reportedly ended their interest in Derby County striker Matej Vydra after a fresh breakdown in personal terms.
The Czech Republic international, who ended last season as the Championship's top scorer, has been linked with an £11m switch to Elland Road all summer.
Leeds were willing to meet Vydra's valuation and Derby had been hopeful of pushing through a move, but Sky Sports News claims that the player will not budge on his hefty wage demands.
The supposed breakdown in talks comes less than 48 hours after a fee was agreed between the Whites and second-tier rivals Middlesbrough for Patrick Bamford, although confirmation of the transfer has yet to be made.
Vydra scored 21 Championship goals last season, compared to 11 for £7m-rated Bamford.
