Leeds United are reportedly set to sign Brenden Aaronson from Red Bull Salzburg in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old previously played under Jesse Marsch at Salzburg, and the pair could soon reunite at Elland Road.
After avoiding relegation on the final day of the season courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Brentford, Marsch is looking to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2022-23 Premier League season.
According to The Athletic, Leeds are expected to sign Aaronson after missing out on the United States international in January.
The report states that the Premier League club will pay a fee in the region of $28m (£22.3m) to sign the attacking midfielder this summer.
Aaronson is set to depart Salzburg after scoring 13 goals in 66 appearances, while he has helped his side win two Austrian Bundesliga titles and two Austrian cups.
