Ipswich Town sign Leeds United defender Patrick Kisnorbo on a one-month loan deal.

Patrick Kisnorbo has left Leeds United to join Ipswich Town on a one-month loan deal.

The central defender only played two games during 2012 after he suffered a serious knee injury, which came just 22 matches after he has missed over a year with an Achilles problem.

The 31-year-old is eligible for Ipswich's FA Cup third-round clash with Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Australian international arrives at Portman Road after manager Mick McCarthy failed to secure the permanent signing of Danny Higginbotham, who opted to join Sheffield United.
